Job summary

Network Designs, Inc. (NDi) is seeking a Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, operate, and improve secure cloud-native and hybrid infrastructure for FAA data platforms across AWS GovCloud, Azure, and hybrid environments. The role requires U.S.

citizenship and the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance. The position is remote with residency in AL, AZ, DC, FL, GA, ID, MD, MS, NJ, NC, OK, OH, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, or WV, and occasional CONUS travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of cloud engineering or similar experience.
• Experience designing and operating cloud infrastructure in enterprise or government environments.
• Hands-on experience with AWS GovCloud or AWS Commercial Cloud, VPC, IAM, Lambda, EKS, and cloud networking.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and operate secure cloud-native and hybrid infrastructure.
• Build and maintain cloud networking, VPCs, IAM, containers, serverless services, compute, storage, monitoring, backup, and recovery.
• Develop infrastructure-as-code and automation for repeatable environments.
• Support platform modernization, cloud migrations, and cost-efficient operations.
• Support cloud security, governance, patching, logging, and documentation.
