Job summary

AIP Publishing is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our remote DevSecOps team. You will manage cloud administration, automation, and security remediation, focusing on Azure workloads and on-prem-to-cloud transitions.

You’ll participate in incident response, identity management, and cross-functional collaboration using Jira and Azure DevOps, with a strong emphasis on automation and AI-assisted tooling.

• Understanding of networking, identity, and security fundamentals.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Infrastructure Operations: patching, updates, and lifecycle for Azure VMs and cloud workloads; support on-premises infrastructure transition to cloud; maintain documentation; coordinate with vendors.
• Level 3 Support and Incident Response: act as escalation point for complex issues; troubleshoot cloud, server, networking, identity, and application connectivity; participate in RCA and incident response.
• Identity and Security: support Microsoft Entra ID administration; assist with Conditional Access, MFA, RBAC, and remediation; collaborate on vulnerability management and platform hardening.
• Collaboration and Delivery: work with Infrastructure, Security, Development, and stakeholders; use Jira and Azure DevOps; participate in DevSecOps sessions.
• Automation and Continuous Improvement: develop PowerShell scripts and automation; leverage AI tools to improve troubleshooting and docs; contribute to modernization.
