Job summary

CACI is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Systems Administrator to build, operate, and optimize secure AWS cloud environments. You will manage multi-account landing zones, ensure high availability, and collaborate with application, data, and security teams in a SAFe Agile setting.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Secret clearance.
• Minimum 5 years of related technical experience.
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Security+, AWS, or similar IT certification.
• Experience as a System Administrator or Network Administrator.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Hands-on experience with servers, networks, cloud environments, and patch management.
• Ability to document and distill technical requirements.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Production Kubernetes/EKS experience with Docker/containerized workloads.
• Active Directory and identity federation integration experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage AWS infrastructure across multi-account, multi-environment landing zones.
• Install, configure, deploy, and maintain servers, software, and supporting platforms.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Strengthen infrastructure security through access controls, backups, firewalls, and compliance tasks.
• Collaborate within a SAFe Agile delivery model with cross-functional teams.
• Support IaaS, IaC, networks, and firewalls for secure environments.
• Perform upgrades, IAVA patching, and STIG compliance.
• Maintain systems per contract requirements and monitor availability.
• Investigate and resolve system outages and issues.
• Manage cloud resources in AWS to support program needs.
• Develop and maintain internal technical documentation and IT policies.
• Contribute to multi-region disaster recovery planning and resilience engineering.
