Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Sr. Solutions Architect (L6) to lead the most complex customer engagements, shaping consumption strategy and serving as the technical authority for accounts. You will drive platform adoption and architect enterprise-grade data/AI solutions at scale.

You will mentor peers, influence executive stakeholders, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver real-world, mission-critical workloads on the Databricks Platform.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in solutions architecture, principal engineering, or senior customer-facing technical role.
• Expert-level coding proficiency—Python, SQL, and ideally Spark/PySpark.
• Deep expertise in enterprise data architecture, distributed systems, streaming, lakehouse design, data governance, cloud-native platforms.
• Executive presence with ability to influence Directors, VPs, and C-level stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Drive technical and consumption strategy for the most complex customer engagements, influencing platform adoption and revenue growth.
• Own senior-level technical relationships as a trusted advisor on enterprise data and AI strategy.
• Lead architecture engagements across multi-workload platforms, migrations, real-time systems, and AI/ML at scale.
• Mentor junior SAs on technical depth, engagements, and use-case prioritization.
