Job summary

ArcheSys, a technology consulting firm, is seeking a Platform Engineer to join our fully remote, full-time team serving public sector clients. You’ll design, develop, and implement secure cloud solutions, collaborating directly with customers to understand requirements and deliver measurable results.

Responsibilities include IaC with Terraform/CloudFormation, AWS infrastructure, CI/CD automation, monitoring setup with tools like Datadog, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field.
• AWS certification or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• 1–3 years in a similar or government-focused role.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Implement IaC with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Automate deployment processes and optimize performance.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support development.
• Set up monitoring with New Relic or Datadog and alerting.
• Document procedures and knowledge sharing.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies and guidelines.
