Eliassen Group is seeking a Cloud Engineer for a fully remote, W2 contract role aligned to Eastern Time business hours. The assignment runs through September 30, 2027, with potential extension and no conversion.

Expect strong AWS work, SaaS integrations, and microservices optimization while collaborating with a hybrid NYC team. Rate ranges from $60.00 to $70.00 per hour on a W2 basis, with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401k matching, and life insurance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong AWS expertise focused on services and integration patterns.
• Hands-on DevOps experience supporting cloud platforms and services.
• Proficiency in Python or Scala.
• Background in enterprise SaaS integration work.
• Familiarity with IAM concepts and controls; Experience with ServiceNow is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain integrations with enterprise SaaS products.
• Optimize and support microservices used across the organization.
• Implement and support IAM controls and related workflows.
• Collaborate with a hybrid NYC-based team while working remotely on EST hours.
• Operate and improve critical SaaS and internal tooling.
• Leverage generative AI tools such as Claude or Windsurf as applicable.
