Job summary

Tripoint Solutions LLC is hiring a Cloud Engineer to design, build, and automate AWS GovCloud infrastructure for a federal education program. You will work with cloud, Salesforce, integration, and data teams to keep environments secure, available, and compliant.

The role emphasizes automation to replace manual tasks and requires hands-on AWS GovCloud, Terraform/CloudFormation, and Python experience. Remote work is allowed with travel to supported state offices as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering or operations.
• Hands-on AWS GovCloud experience.
• Hands-on AWS compute/storage/networking/identity including VPC design, subnets and Route 53.
• Experience integrating AWS with Salesforce; MuleSoft experience a plus.
• Infrastructure as code with CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Proficiency with IAM/KMS and least‑privilege security models.
• Linux administration and Python for automation.

Responsibilities

• Provision, configure, and operate AWS GovCloud infrastructure (EC2, S3, EBS, RDS, VPCs).
• Author and maintain infrastructure as code with CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Build and support integrations between AWS and Salesforce, including MuleSoft-based interfaces.
• Develop and maintain AWS Glue pipelines for data movement.
• Implement S3 lifecycle, encryption, and access controls.
• Support STIG, RMF and ATO activities; remediate vulnerabilities.
