Job summary

nClouds in the United States is seeking a Cloud Engineer to design, automate, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS. You will work across DevOps and delivery teams to implement resilient systems and cost-efficient solutions.

The role requires hands-on experience with Terraform, Argo, Github Actions, and AWS services, plus strong troubleshooting and collaboration skills. Remote work is available with occasional client engagements as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with full software development lifecycle and Agile delivery.
• Hands-on CI/CD workflow design and implementation.
• Strong verbal and written communication of DevOps concepts.
• Knowledge of IP networking, VPNs, DNS, load balancing and firewall.
• Understanding of cloud-native security requirements.
• All things AWS, AWS-CLI and AWS SDKs.
• Linux administration and scripting (Bash, Python, Go, or Ruby).
• Infrastructure as code with Terraform or CloudFormation/CDK.
• Orchestration tools (Kubernetes/EKS or ECS).
• Configuration management (AWS Config, Ansible).
• Containers (Docker or Docker-Compose).

Responsibilities

• Help architect, build, and implement resilient, scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Operate automation tools (Terraform, Argo, Github Actions) with vendor tools (CloudFormation, EKS, ECS, SAM).
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to generate new initiatives and tools.
• Consult with multiple clients simultaneously and develop project roadmaps.
• Identify AWS cost savings, security gaps, and best practices across services.
