Job summary

Regions Financial Corporation is seeking a Cloud DevSecOps Engineer to advance cloud strategy by building robust, secure CI/CD pipelines and automating infrastructure and deployment. You will work with stakeholders to implement DevSecOps best practices across cloud platforms and ensure compliance with security standards.

The role is primarily remote, with occasional on-site requirements near Regions offices; knowledge of OpenShift, AKS, Vault, and automation tooling is highly valued.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 4 years of related IT/InfoSec experience.
• DevSecOps experience required.
• AWS or AzureDevOps certification preferred.
• Experience building/deploying cloud-native apps – OpenShift, AKS.
• Experience with secrets management (Vault).
• Familiar with Chaos engineering in CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiar with automation/testing tools for CI/CD.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop autonomous CI/CD pipelines for cloud deployments.
• Automate infrastructure and applications builds and deployments.
• Ensure pipelines follow best practices with automated tests and infrastructure tests.
• Create tools to reduce errors and improve customer experience.
• Troubleshoot production issues; provide clear docs and metrics for RCA.
• Develop and test Ansible, Terraform, Packer scripts to enable immutable infra.
• Collaborate with EA, InfoSec, Software Delivery, QA to move to cloud with automation.
