General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) seeks a Database Analyst/Administrator to support AOUSC with production database environments. You will monitor performance, perform root-cause analysis, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable data models and analytics.

The role requires 7+ years in database analysis, AWS data services experience, and strong problem-solving and communication skills. Remote/telecommuting options are available.

Competenze

• 7+ years of related experience in database analysis/maintenance
• Experience supporting production database systems including on‑call responsibilities
• AWS database technologies experience (Aurora PostgreSQL or similar) preferred
• Experience with data warehousing concepts and data modeling
• Strong analytical and communication skills

Mansioni

• Provide production support for mission-critical database environments with on-call coverage
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot incidents, and coordinate with teams to restore service
• Perform root-cause analysis for defects and contribute to stability improvements
• Develop and enforce database standards, security, scalability, and maintainability
• Collaborate with product owners to gather requirements and map to technical designs
• Develop stored procedures, jobs, views, and database objects in SQL Server
• Design scalable data models for Databricks lakehouse environments
• Develop and deploy ETL packages using CI/CD pipelines
• Create data visualizations and dashboards to track KPIs
• Document complex workflow designs for project stakeholders
