Job summary

LS Technologies, a Tetra Tech Company, is seeking a Change Management Engineer to govern cloud infrastructure and application changes within the FAA enterprise environment. You will engineer, document, test, authorize, implement, and validate changes while minimizing risk to critical systems.

You will coordinate with Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Cybersecurity, and FAA stakeholders to ensure compliant, secure, and efficient changes across development, test, staging, and production environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a technical field.
• 5+ years in systems/cloud engineering, DevOps, IT operations, or change management.
• Experience managing changes in complex enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure and service delivery models.
• Experience with AWS cloud environments and enterprise cloud operations.
• Ability to plan implementation, test, validation, and rollback.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute cloud infrastructure and application changes across environments.
• Manage the end-to-end change lifecycle including approval and validation.
• Develop standardized cloud change management processes and docs.
• Evaluate changes for dependencies, security, and operational impact.
• Coordinate changes across multiple engineering and program stakeholders.
• Prepare technical change packages, risk assessments, and rollback plans.
• Ensure changes comply with policies, architecture standards, and regulations.
• Establish change windows and minimize disruption to mission-critical systems.
• Monitor changes post-implementation and track incidents and trends.
