Genesis Consulting is seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to join our Federal program and lead cloud strategy for data management and analytics initiatives.

The ideal candidate will design secure, scalable cloud architectures for migration to AWS GovCloud, implement data governance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver enterprise-grade solutions that meet federal security requirements and compliance standards.

Qualifications

7+ years designing secure, scalable cloud solutions for federal or public sector.
Proven ability to align cloud designs with NIST, FedRAMP and AWS Well-Architected standards.
Strong communication to coordinate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Design and implement cloud architectures for migration to AWS GovCloud.
Collaborate to develop cloud-based data integration with AWS Redshift and S3.
Evaluate and optimize cloud solutions for performance, cost, and security.
Ensure compliance with federal standards and data governance.
Provide guidance on cloud architecture, data modeling, and cloud-native tech.
Develop architecture diagrams and specifications.
Support disaster recovery and business continuity in the cloud.
Stay updated on emerging cloud technologies.
