Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Cloud / AI Architect to lead enterprise-scale AI initiatives. This remote, contract role focuses on architecting AI pipelines, RAG frameworks, and cross-cloud strategies to drive intelligent automation across enterprise platforms.

You will design agent-based architectures, collaborate with stakeholders, and mentor teams while delivering production-ready solutions on AWS and related cloud ecosystems.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in cloud architecture, software engineering, or related fields.
• Proven enterprise AI/ML solution delivery experience at scale.
• Hands-on with AWS Agent Core and agent-based workflows.
• Experience designing RAG architectures for knowledge retrieval.
• Ability to turn PoCs into scalable production platforms.
• Experience with AWS and/or GCP cloud AI solutions.
• Strong understanding of LLMs, embeddings, and vector tech.
• Experience integrating AI with enterprise apps and data ecosystems.
• Prior Architect/Principal Engineer leadership experience.
• Excellent communication for business audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise AI solutions.
• Build PoC and production AI pipelines using AWS Agent Core.
• Design RAG frameworks to support enterprise knowledge retrieval.
• Define standards for AI agents, workflows, vector search, data integration.
• Evaluate cloud strategies across AWS and GCP.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable AI.
• Provide technical leadership while prototyping and implementing pipelines.
• Partner with teams to identify AI-driven process improvements.
• Communicate complex tech concepts to diverse audiences.
• Support adoption via architecture reviews and guidance.
