Job summary

Zillow Group is seeking a senior accounting professional to drive transformation in close and consolidation. You will own programs, lead projects, and push efficiency improvements across the close process while maintaining strong controls and governance.

You will partner across Tax, Legal, Treasury, and Compliance to ensure accurate intercompany settlements and scalable processes, with a focus on automation and standardization across the accounting org.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience in a large public company.
• Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred.
• Strong US GAAP foundation with intercompany accounting and multi-entity consolidation.
• Experience with intercompany processes and transfer pricing.
• Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead close optimization and efficiency initiatives; build roadmaps and reduce manual effort.
• Own close communications, facilitation, and tracking of the close cycle.
• Overhaul and maintain close artifacts, templates, and frameworks.
• Lead cross-team accounting programs like close management and consolidation.
• Oversee intercompany program with Tax, Legal, Treasury, and Compliance.
• Represent accounting in Zillow Group-wide strategic projects and M&A integrations.
• Develop and enhance internal control frameworks to ensure SOX compliance.
• Deliver financial analysis and metrics to drive optimization and scalability.
