Job summary

The American Heart Association is seeking a Program Implementation Manager, Clinical Studies. This role can be home-based and is full-time with grant funding through July 30, 2031.

You will lead day-to-day recruitment, onboarding, and site management for cardiovascular clinical studies, building relationships with hospitals and clinics to support patient referrals and program goals. You will coordinate trial activation, regulatory onboarding, education, and data monitoring while ensuring

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Three (3) years or equivalent experience.
• Experience interacting with clinicians and C-suite, ideally in a hospital setting.
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation communications skills.
• Experience with program/project management, including influencing performance without direct line accountability.
• Ability to travel up to 15% nationally.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physician leadership, C-suite, and site teams; work independently with minimal supervision.
• Identify and develop pipeline of hospitals and clinics for trial referrals; manage relationships to reach program goals.
• Oversee site activation lifecycle: contracting, onboarding, and documentation.
• Onboard and train sites; educate on protocol requirements, data collection, and regulatory obligations.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and monitoring across trial sites; track data and documents.
