Cancer Support Community Greater NY & CT at Gilda's Club is seeking a contracted, per-diem Clinical Support Group Facilitator to serve participants in New York and Connecticut remotely. The role entails facilitating and providing clinical oversight of psychosocial support groups for people affected by cancer, with responsibilities including conducting sessions, assessing needs, and coordinating referrals.

Qualifications

• Requires Master’s degree in social work or related mental health field.
• Must hold current licensure as required by NY and CT.
• Minimum 3 years post-graduate clinical experience with adults in oncology and grief/loss.
• Must maintain professional malpractice/liability insurance.
• Evening availability for scheduled group sessions.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate weekly, monthly, or bi-monthly support groups (e.g., Living with Cancer, Post Treatment, Caregiver, Living with Loss).
• Communicate with CSCNYCT Clinical Program Manager about new members and updates.
• Submit monthly invoice for work activity.
• Report to CSCNYCT Clinical Program Manager both administratively and clinically.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Clinical Program Manager and Program Director.
