Job summary

Kodiak Solutions is seeking a Clinical Revenue Cycle Sr Associate to oversee daily clinical revenue management and charge capture optimization projects for Professional Billing customers. You will apply your technical expertise and interpersonal skills to support our clients and deliver high-quality analysis.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in professional billing coding, coding auditing, and EMR systems (Athena, Epic) with CPC/CPMA or similar certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or health-related field required; MBA/MHA/MPH desirable
• 3-5 years of healthcare experience focused on professional billing coding and charging
• Previous professional services/consulting experience essential
• Expertise in professional revenue cycle management, physician coding and charge capture
• Strong technical knowledge with relevant licensure/certifications (e.g., CPC, COC, CPPM, CRCR, CIRCC, RHIA, CPMA)
• Leadership skills to manage multiple projects and cross-functional teams
• Excellent analytical and financial skills with data analytics proficiency (Excel)
• Outstanding written and verbal communication for diverse audiences
• Business development experience is a plus
• Up to 25% travel to client sites as needed

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day tasks related to clinical revenue management and charge capture projects for Professional Billing clients
• Apply technical expertise and interpersonal skills to deliver high-quality analysis
• Collaborate with client leadership at various levels to drive solutions
• Lead process improvement initiatives and measure impact on revenue cycles
• Utilize electronic medical record systems (e.g., Athena, Epic) and other tools to optimize documentation and billing workflows
