Job summary

Merck is seeking a Clinical Research Associate/Monitor to oversee performance and compliance for assigned protocols and sites. The role requires strong site relationships, expert monitoring, and regulatory oversight to ensure patient safety and data integrity.

You will travel up to 75% domestically and internationally, work under CRA-Manager guidance, and help expand the territory with new sites while maintaining high-quality conduct.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years in healthcare with 2+ years direct site management (monitoring).
• Bachelor’s degree plus relevant site monitoring experience acceptable.
• Immunology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops strong site relationships across trial phases.
• Performs site management/monitoring in line with ICH-GCP and SOPs.
• Gains deep understanding of study protocol and procedures.
• Coordinates tasks with sponsor roles to achieve Site Ready.
• Monitors data quality, subject safety, and regulatory docs.
• Communicates with Investigators and site staff on protocol conduct.
• Participates in audit/inspection activities as needed.
