Job summary

Care Access is hiring a Research Assistant to provide remote, patient-centric support for clinical studies. The RA will handle patient education, eligibility screening, data management, and study administration with a quality-first approach.

The role requires 2+ years in clinical research and strong Microsoft Office skills, plus comfort working remotely across multiple portals and platforms.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant clinical research experience.
• Spanish fluency is a bonus.
• Proficient with recruitment platforms, IWRS, EDC, and related software.

Responsibilities

• Identify, recruit, educate, and pre-screen potential patients for a study.
• Analyze study protocol and disease areas to educate patients and families.
• Explain study requirements to patients in clear terms.
• Interpret patient medical history to determine eligibility for screening.
• Schedule patient visits in accordance with protocol timelines.
• Coordinate with Central Study Coordinator on study activities.
• Proactively contact patients to collect information and remind about appointments.
• Verify completion of visits and process patient stipends.
