Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Clinical Project Manager Assistant to support ophthalmology clinical trials from a remote location with required onsite training in Durham, NC. The role focuses on collection, documentation, and QA of imaging data and study materials.

The candidate will coordinate reader assignments, assist with startup activities, and ensure timely data delivery while maintaining quality across multiple studies. Strong MS Office skills and healthcare workflow experience are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience providing administrative support.
• 1+ years of experience within clinical research preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager in day-to-day management of clinical trials, focusing on collection, documentation, and compilation of clinical research images and data.
• Communicate with clinical sites, sponsors, and CROs regarding study specifics, imaging requirements, and issues.
• Assist with study startup activities including distribution of site initiation forms and site certification coordination.
• Track, confirm, and document receipt of all images and test materials submitted to the reading center.
• Manage reader assignments and support study timelines.
• Perform data quality control reviews and reconcile data as needed.
• Enter data, verify source documents, and perform clerical tasks to support study operations.
