Job summary

Clinical Ink is seeking a Remote Clinical Programmer to join our Data Management team across the United States. You will develop data integrations, exports, custom reports, and database scripts to ensure accurate customer data transfers.

You will troubleshoot issues, communicate progress to stakeholders, and contribute to process improvements throughout the project lifecycle. Requirements include 5+ years in software development/data management, experience with Snowflake, and proficiency in SAS

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, informatics, or closely related field.
• 5+ years as software developer, database analyst/programmer, or clinical software tester.
• Experience with Snowflake.
• Experience building reports in SSRS, Tableau, or other reporting tools.
• 2+ years programming in Microsoft SQL and/or MySQL.
• 3+ years programming in SAS.
• 5+ years of Clinical Data Management and clinical dev tech solutions.
• Understanding of CDISC and SDTM.
• Able to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Comfortable writing and troubleshooting complex SQL queries (Pivot, indexing, CTEs, subqueries).

Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, and quality-check data integrations, exports, and custom reports.
• Create and maintain database scripts to support data transfers and reports.
• Troubleshoot data issues and communicate progress to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with customers to define data transfer standards and automate transfers.
• Provide programming support for custom reports and data outputs.
• Review data mappings for customer exports and perform QC on exports.
• Assist junior staff with programming issues and share knowledge.
