Eliassen Group is seeking a Clinical Product Owner for a remote, contract role focusing on EMR enhancements (Artemis EMR). You will guide requirements, manage backlogs, and collaborate with clinical, technology, and marketing teams to deliver value.

The position involves user research, UI collaboration, and UAT, with a path to onboarding under a senior leader. The role requires hands-on EMR experience, strong documentation skills, and ability to translate clinical needs into actionable user

Qualifications

• Clinical background with hands-on EMR domain experience.
• Proven ability to elicit requirements and document for technical teams.
• Strong stakeholder-facing communication across clinical, technology, and marketing groups.
• Experience managing product backlogs, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Experience with user research, UAT, and iterative product improvement.
• Collaboration with UI/UX teams on screen design and workflow optimization.

Responsibilities

• Define and communicate the EMR product vision and strategy.
• Engage stakeholders to capture clinical needs and translate them into requirements and user stories.
• Prioritize features based on clinical impact, user feedback, and market trends.
• Partner with developers, designers, and clinical experts to deliver EMR features.
• Create and maintain product roadmaps, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Lead backlog grooming and sprint planning.
• Serve as primary contact for clinical stakeholders and ensure alignment with workflows.
• Stay current on healthcare regulations, standards, and EMR trends.
• Conduct user research, gather feedback, and drive continuous improvement.
• Plan and execute UAT to validate functionality and usability.
• Monitor product performance and user satisfaction and implement improvements.
• Collaborate on training materials and support resources for end users.
• Support product rollouts and implementations.
• Work with UI teams to lay out screens and improve usability.
• Shadow a senior leader to learn domain and Artemis EMR practices.
