Job summary

Prime Therapeutics is seeking a Pharmacist Account Manager to support drug spend and clinical programs for clients. This remote role focuses on data analysis, formulary strategy, and utilization management to optimize pharmaceutical care and cost control.

In this position you will build relationships with key stakeholders, provide consultative clinical guidance, and collaborate across teams to implement client decisions. Licensure in the US is required.

Qualifications

• PharmD or BS Pharmacy degree.
• 1 year of work experience in a clinical pharmacy, managed care pharmacy or clinical account management.
• Current Pharmacist license to practice in the applicable state(s).

Responsibilities

• Collect and interpret data related to prescription drug utilization, costs, and trends in order to identify patterns in drug usage and spend and to provide actionable insights that may impact the clients overall healthcare budget
• Provide consultative clinical expertise in internal and external cross functional work groups. Consistently illustrate accurate knowledge of Prime's clinical products and services to drive clinical appropriateness, member experience, and manage costs
• Monitor impact of external factors such as regulatory changes, generic launches, or emerging therapies
• Assist with sales and retention activities
• Respond to client inquiries as applicable and support client projects and initiatives with accuracy and an appropriate sense of urgency
