Job summary

Prime Therapeutics is seeking a Pharmacist Account Manager to support drug spend, trend analysis, and client-facing recommendations from a remote Nevada location. You will collaborate across teams to optimize formulary, utilization management, and clinical programs for PBM clients.

The ideal candidate holds a PharmD or BS Pharmacy, with 1 year of clinical pharmacy or managed care experience, and a license to practice in the United States; strong communication and strategic thinking are essential.

Qualifications

• PharmD or Bachelor of Science Pharmacy degree.
• 1 year of work experience in a clinical pharmacy, managed care pharmacy or clinical account management.
• Current Pharmacist license to practice in the applicable state(s).
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Collect and interpret data related to prescription drug utilization, costs, and trends to identify patterns and provide actionable insights.
• Provide consultative clinical expertise in internal and external cross functional work groups.
• Explain Prime's clinical products to drive clinical appropriateness, member experience, and manage costs.
• Monitor impact of regulatory changes, generic launches, or emerging therapies.
• Assist with sales and retention activities.
• Respond to client inquiries and support client projects and initiatives with accuracy and urgency.
