Qualifications

• Active pharmacist license in the state of practice.
• Bachelor's or PharmD required; Master's/PharmD preferred.
• No prior work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Review and assess medication orders to identify and resolve drug-related problems.
• Recommend formulary alternatives when appropriate.
• Compound and dispense medications and provide drug information to staff and patients.
• Communicate with physicians and clinicians to support patient care.
• Oversee technicians involved in preparation and dispensing of medications.
• Serve as a preceptor for pharmacy students and provide patient counseling when needed.
