Job summary

Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute is seeking a Clinical Oncology Pharmacist to support the Pharmacy Operations team. The role focuses on therapeutic medication monitoring, protocol management, and education to ensure safe, effective, and cost-efficient oncology therapy across clinical staff.

The pharmacist will collaborate with Hematology/Oncology physicians and nursing staff to optimize drug therapy, participate in biomarker-guided regimen selection, and contribute to new regimen

Qualifications

• College degree in pharmacy required; PharmD preferred.
• Licensed pharmacist required.
• Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist (BCOP) preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a clinical pharmacist in hospital, home health, or oncology settings.

Responsibilities

• Provides timely consultation to physicians, nurses, pharmacy staff, and other members of the organization.
• Delivers up-to-date drug information on oncology therapies and other biologic therapies.
• Applies pharmacological principles for drug selection to meet therapeutic needs.
• Provides senior clinical support and education to department members.
