Job summary

LexisNexis is seeking a fully remote Nurse Content Editor to review, update, and revise healthcare content in line with clinical guidelines and current events. You will ensure accuracy, support content updates, and manage projects to meet deadlines under a Clinical Editor’s guidance.

Qualified candidates have an active RN license, a nursing degree (BSN or higher), and at least 3 years of clinical nursing experience, plus experience in authoring healthcare education materials and applying health

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with an unencumbered license.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or higher; Master’s degree preferred.
• At least 3 years of recent clinical nursing experience.
• Some experience in authoring/writing content; healthcare-related quality, practice, regulatory requirements; and developing education materials strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of learner-centered or adult-learning principles, health literacy, and plain language principles.
• Strong research skills and the ability to stay current with the latest developments in nursing and healthcare

Responsibilities

• Review, update, and revise assigned content based on scheduled review cycles and customer needs.
• Ensure all content is accurate, evidence-based, and adheres to current clinical practice guidelines and standards.
• Support the editing and updating of assigned content based on scheduled review cycles.
• Manage assigned projects, ensuring deadlines are met and quality is maintained.
• Engage with internal teams to support content needs and respond to basic clinical inquiries from the Customer Success and Service team under the guidance of a Clinical Editor. May support the JIRA ticket process.
• Participate in team meetings.
• Be aware of related professional organization and/or governing body updates regarding nursing practice.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Patient Engagement leadership team.
