Job summary

ViziRecruiter, LLC is seeking a Clinical Documentation Integrity Specialist (CDIS) to enhance documentation quality in a remote, 8am–4pm EST, Monday–Friday setting.

The CDIS will collaborate with physicians and clinicians to modify records so the documented level reflects care provided and aligns with coding guidelines. The role emphasizes education and ongoing documentation improvement in acute care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Minimum 3 years acute care nursing experience; ICU experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years CDIS experience in acute care hospital.
• Epic and 3M 360 experience preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office and MS Teams.
• Must be able to troubleshoot remote computer connectivity issues.

Responsibilities

• CDIS facilitates modifications to clinical documentation through concurrent interaction with physicians and other clinicians to ensure that documentation reflects complete and accurate level of service rendered to patients.
• The CDIS is responsible for improving the overall quality and completeness of clinical documentation.
