Job summary

Natera is seeking a Clinical Director, Clinical Development, to lead the clinical and scientific aspects of sponsored studies, ensuring data integrity and patient safety within a defined development framework.

The role partners with senior leadership to advance research and product vision, manage study timelines and budgets, and build external investigator relationships. Remote work is available in the United States.

Qualifications

• MD (or equivalent medical degree) is required.
• Board Certification/Eligibility in Oncology & Hematology preferred.
• Typically requires 3+ years of medical monitoring experience.
• 3+ years in vitro diagnostics, life sciences or pharmaceutical clinical development; OR 5+ years post-graduate clinical trials experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the clinical and scientific aspects of one or more Natera-sponsored clinical studies.
• Ensure study-level clinical integrity, data quality, and patient safety.
• Collaborate with cross-functional study team members to ensure timelines and budget adherence and milestones.
• Oversee the work of Clinical Scientists on related studies where applicable.
• Contribute to program-level strategy in partnership with senior clinical leadership.
• Analyze and interpret study data to identify trends and inform decisions.
