Job summary

Methodist Southwest Medical Center is seeking a Clinical Data Specialist to perform abstraction, analysis, investigation, reporting and follow-up for quality indicators from internal and external initiatives to improve patient care and outcomes. This remote role supports our Dallas area facilities.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate or Bachelor's degree in a science field, 3–5 years clinical experience, and, if possible, a Texas RN license or CPHQ certification.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree with science emphasis or commensurate healthcare experience.
• CPHQ or other quality certification preferred.
• Current license in the State of Texas as a registered or licensed vocational nurse preferred.
• 3–5 years clinical experience in general medical/surgical nursing or patient care, or 3-5 years as a healthcare professional.
