Training is provided virtually from your home and 2 weeks long. The position requires a High School Diploma or GED and 18+ years of age, with 1+ year(s) of health insurance or medical billing experience.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in health insurance or medical billing.
• Experience with key performance indicators (e.g., average handle time, contacts per hour, quality).
• 1+ years of experience handling 40+ calls in a high-volume call center.

Responsibilities

• Initiates prior authorizations for outpatient medication injectables to ensure timely access.
• Handle calls from providers regarding chemotherapy and specialty injections, verifying HIPAA compliance.
• Enter requested services into the system and maintain accurate documentation; meet weekly metrics.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
