Job summary

SCAN Health Plan in Portland, OR is seeking a Manager, Clinical Operations to oversee daily operations within clinical pods and align with SCAN’s strategic goals, ensuring high quality patient care.

You will lead POD processes, drive program management, and monitor performance metrics while collaborating with the Medical Director and APC manager to improve outcomes. Travel locally and work mostly remotely.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in healthcare or business-related field preferred.
• CMS audit experience required; Model of Care and Care Management knowledge.
• Mobile care delivery operations experience.
• Experience with managed care preferred.
• Managerial interpersonal, management and communication skills.
• Strong diligence and data-driven decision making.
• Demonstrated leadership and management skills.
• Strong skills in remote team management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily POD operations and align with SCAN initiatives.
• Design and manage healthcare initiatives within PODs; oversee panel management.
• Monitor POD performance metrics and prepare leadership reports.
• Collaborate with the APC manager and Medical Director for coaching and process improvements.
• Perform in-person rounding in POD communities to engage APCs and ensure quality care.
• Recruit, onboard, coach the team; manage regional vendor relationships.
• Develop, update, and audit POD workflows to ensure compliance and efficiency.
