Job summary

Guardant Health is seeking a Customer Services Associate to support physician offices, laboratories, hospitals, and patients. The role involves handling calls, emails, and web inquiries, maintaining professional client communication, and supporting sales and clinical teams.

The ideal candidate will have a biology-related degree, 2+ years in customer-facing healthcare settings, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; Salesforce experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 4 year college degree in Biological Sciences or similar discipline is preferred.
• 2+ years of experience working with customers in healthcare/pharma setting is required.
• Solid experience using Microsoft Office is needed, Salesforce (CRM) experience is a plus.
• Quick learner who can work collaboratively in a multi‑product environment and adapt to changing procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with computer proficiency, preferably Mac.

Responsibilities

• Assist with training new hires and auditing new hire work.
• Manage higher case load and complex territory as needed.
• Answer and assist with inquiries and escalate to CS leadership when needed.
• Receive and respond to phone, email and web inquiries from customers.
• Contribute to volume growth by resolving cases quickly and accurately.
• Document all communications and follow‑up activities clearly in systems.
• Enter and qualify new customer information into Salesforce and LIMS.
• Coordinate with physicians and medical personnel to gather missing information.
• Collaborate with Clinical Lab to ensure correct client data entry.
• Communicate professionally with clients, patients and sales team.
