Audubon Florida is seeking a part-time CLI Seasonal Assistant to help run the Conservation Leadership Initiative across Florida, working remotely and traveling to three weekend events. The role supports learning, mentorship, and outreach to colleges, with a focus on engaging underrepresented communities.

You will coordinate events, maintain participant engagement, and assist with communications, logistics, and safety.

Qualificações

• Coursework in an environmental field or related.
• Interest in environmental issues, birds and wildlife.
• Experience planning events.
• Experience working with or leading college groups or clubs.
• Experience fostering inclusive and collaborative work environments is valued.
• A self-starter: able to work independently and with a team.
• CLI alumni are strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsabilidades

• Build relationships with colleges and universities across Florida for CLI recruitment, focusing on HBCUs and MSIs.
• Assist planning and facilitation of regional outreach events.
• Provide ongoing coordination and support for CLI participants and mentors, helping navigate challenges and stay engaged.
• Facilitate virtual check-ins and webinars on topics like student projects, development and cohort engagement.
• Maintains and fosters a culture of safety.
• Other duties as needed.
