Sedgwick is hiring for a Claims Team Lead I in the United States to oversee multiple teams of claims examiners in workers compensation. You will supervise workloads, mentor staff, and ensure accurate adjudication while maintaining strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• 5 years of California Workers' Compensation claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Supervisory Experience Preferred
• Knowledge of jurisdictional regulations and best practices.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervises multiple teams of examiners and staff for workers' compensation claims.
• Monitors workloads, provides training, and manages claim activities.
• Provides technical direction to examiner reports on adjudication.
• Reviews reserve amounts on high-cost claims and those beyond examiner authority.
• Ensures timely quality reviews in accordance with audits and contracts.
• Maintains client relationships and communicates claim status and recommendations.
