Sedgwick is seeking a Claims Examiner - Liability with focus on general and product liability. This remote, telecommuter role supports clients nationwide and requires 5 years of claims management experience and active licensing across states, including NY, IA, and FL.

Qualifications

• Education & licensing requirements: high school diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience: 5+ years of claims management experience or equivalent.
• Licensing/Jurisdiction: licensing for all 50 states, NY, IA, FL or willing to obtain within six months.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and process claims to determine exposure and resolution.
• Negotiate settlements within designated authority.
• Communicate claim activity with claimants and clients.
• Report claims to the excess carrier and respond to directions professionally.
