Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Claims Examiner - Liability | GL & BI to work remotely across all states. You will analyze General Liability and Bodily Injury claims, determine benefits due, and adjudicate claims within service expectations.

Responsibilities include negotiating settlements, communicating with claimants and clients, and coordinating with carriers. Requires a high school diploma, 5 years of claims experience, and a home-state license; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5 years of claims management experience or equivalent education and experience required.
• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Home state license required; jurisdiction knowledge of all states.
• Professional certification applicable to line of business preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing and processing General liability and Bodily Injury claims to determine exposure and benefits.
• Negotiating settlements within designated authority.
• Communicating claim activity with claimants and clients.
• Reporting claims to the excess carrier and following directions professionally.
