Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a remote, full-time Claims Examiner - Liability | GL & BI to analyze General Liability and Bodily Injury claims for clients nationwide. The role supports adjudication to client service requirements and industry best practices. You will investigate, determine benefits, and negotiate settlements within authority while communicating progress to claimants and clients. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred and 5 years of claims experience are expected.

Qualifications

• 5 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Home state licensing required for jurisdiction across all states.

Responsibilities

• Analyze General liability and Bodily Injury claims to determine benefits due.
• Negotiate settlements within designated authority.
• Communicate claim activity with claimants and clients.
• Report claims to excess carriers and respond to directions promptly.
