Sedgwick, a global leader in claims administration, is hiring a Claims Examiner - Liability | GL & BI for remote work. You will analyze General Liability and Bodily Injury claims for clients across industries, determine benefits due, and adjudicate claims within service expectations.

The ideal candidate has 5 years claims experience, a high school diploma or GED (Bachelor’s preferred), and a home state license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Professional certification as applicable to line of business.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and process claims to determine exposure and benefits.
• Negotiate settlements within designated authority.
• Communicate claim activity with claimants and clients.
• Report claims to excess carrier and respond to directions.
