Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Claims Examiner - Liability for remote work eligibility across all states. You will analyze General Liability and Bodily Injury claims to determine benefits due and adjudicate within service expectations and client requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Professional certification in line of business is a plus.
• 5 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and process General liability and Bodily Injury claims to determine exposure and benefits.
• Negotiate settlements within designated authority.
• Communicate claim activity and processing with claimants and clients.
• Report claims to excess carriers and respond to directions professionally and timely.

Education

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university

Professional certification as applicable to line of business
