Strong communication and meticulous attention to detail are essential in this fast-paced department with strict deadlines. The position requires 3–5 years in title insurance or related litigation, with full-time availability.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree and license in good standing.
• 3–5 years in title insurance or litigation preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and determine coverage and claim resolutions.
• Decide need to retain outside counsel; manage claims to resolution.
• Negotiate with claimants and opposing counsel.
• Participate in mediations and court appearances.
• Review invoices for costs and attorneys' fees.
• Evaluate recovery opportunities and document file activity.
• Respond to clearance/curative demands.
• Support other assigned activities/projects.
