Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking an experienced Adjuster to investigate, evaluate, and quantify insurance claims, providing coverage and liability recommendations within policy terms. The role involves interviewing involved parties, inspecting sites, and negotiating settlements within authorities.

You will maintain records in our systems, support billing, and assist with local branch marketing while building client relationships. A strong mathematical and analytical ability is essential.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education required or pursuing CIP designation.
• Must be licensed or have ability to obtain provisional license.
• Strong knowledge of insurance, claims or business management required.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; proficient in computers and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate and quantify insurance claims per policy terms.
• Interview insured, claimants and witnesses; determine coverage and liability.
• Maintain accurate records in company systems; assist with billing and receivables.
• Assist with local marketing and client relations; participate in reviews and audits.
• Continuously educate to stay current on industry changes and licensing requirements.
