Job summary

Wessler Engineering is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer specialized in water treatment to design and optimize treatment facilities. The role focuses on technical advancement and sustainability, with responsibilities spanning concept to commissioning.

The position supports remote work options and potential assignments at offices in Indiana and Ohio, with Columbus, OH preferred. A PE license is preferred or obtainable within 12 months.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years in water treatment engineering and design.
• Professional Engineer license preferred or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Proficiency in industry-standard engineering software (AutoCAD, Water CAD, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate, and design water treatment systems from concept to detailed design.
• Perform hydraulic and process modeling for system performance.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on infrastructure projects.
• Support construction and commissioning of water treatment facilities.
• Analyze system performance and propose operational improvements.
• Prepare technical reports, specifications, and proposals.
• Visit facilities for data gathering and evaluation.
