Qualifications

Must successfully pass the North Carolina Bar Examination and obtain a license to practice law in North Carolina as a condition of employment.
0-3 years of legal experience with exposure to civil litigation and transactional business law.
Residence in the Charlotte, NC metro area with ability to attend events in person as needed.
Ability to work effectively from home and independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

Manage a caseload of 10-50 open matters across civil litigation and business transactional matters.
Make strategic decisions in clients' litigation and business matters.
Prepare and serve pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and notices; schedule trials and hearings.
Draft and negotiate business agreements and other transactional documents.
Counsel businesses on transactions, governance, operations, and risk management.
