Bernhardt Riley, Attorneys at Law seeks a full-time Civil Litigation Trial Attorney who can manage a fast-moving caseload in a fully remote Florida role. Applicants must currently reside in Florida and be eligible to practice there.

The position offers compensation from $105,000 to $125,000 per year plus DOE, with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities to grow the division, lead matters from intake to trial, and work within a supportive remote team.

Qualifications

• Florida Bar license active and in good standing.
• Trial and motions practice experience required.
• Ability to manage disputes through settlement, mediation, arbitration, or trial.
• Professional judgment, responsiveness, and strong client-facing communication in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead matters from intake strategy through resolution (settlement, mediation/arbitration, or trial).
• Develop case-specific legal strategies aligned to client goals, risk tolerance, and cost realities.
• Maintain proactive case timelines: you control deadlines and forward motion.
• Draft and argue dispositive and non-dispositive motions; manage hearings.
• Drive discovery strategy and conduct depositions; prepare witnesses.
