Required are a WA bar license and a minimum of 5 years of civil litigation experience. The role involves handling varied matters, managing cases independently, and partnering with other attorneys and support staff.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Active Washington State Bar license in good standing.
• Minimum of 5 years of civil litigation experience.
• Hands-on experience with discovery, depositions, motion practice, and court proceedings.
• Ability to manage multiple cases independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Handle civil litigation matters including construction defects, real estate disputes, and business litigation.
• Represent builders, developers, and clients in litigation proceedings.
• Take and defend depositions and manage discovery.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Prepare for and appear at hearings and argue motions.
• Participate in mediations, settlement negotiations, and other dispute-resolution proceedings.
• Manage cases independently while collaborating with attorneys, clients, and support staff.
• Conduct legal research and develop effective litigation strategies.
