gpac is seeking a highly motivated Civil Litigation Associate Attorney in Raleigh, NC, with 2+ years of experience to join one of our client firms. You will manage cases through all stages of litigation, interact directly with clients, and contribute to a collaborative, fast-paced practice.

The role covers diverse litigation work, including discovery, pleadings, depositions, and court appearances, with opportunities for growth and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be NC licensed civil litigation attorney with at least 2 years of experience.
• Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Experience defending civil litigation claims; preference for construction, products, professional, premises, or commercial litigation.
• Experience handling discovery, motion practice, and depositions.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Trial preparation experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage various phases of litigation for assigned cases.
• Handle all discovery, motions, and depositions.
• Draft pleadings, motions and briefs.
• Appear before state and federal courts.
• Develop facts and make legal arguments.
• Report case updates to the managing attorney and clients.
