Qualifications

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Admitted to the Connecticut State Bar or have an adequate UBE score.
• 1–5 years of litigation experience, preferably in insurance defense.
• Proficiency in drafting and arguing dispositive motions.
• Strong advocacy, attention to detail and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage own civil litigation caseload from inception to resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery requests with strict deadlines.
• Prepare for and attend depositions, hearings, and trials.
• Communicate regularly with clients and collaborate with experts and attorneys.
• Conduct legal research and write memoranda to support case strategy.
