Gilder Search Group is seeking a Litigation Associate (Civil) with 3–5+ years of civil litigation experience for our Bay Area defense practice. The role supports increasing client demand and allows remote work with required attendance at hearings, depositions, court appearances, and site inspections across the Bay Area.

The ideal candidate is California Bar admitted, resides in the San Francisco Bay Area, and brings strong research and writing skills, courtroom experience, and the ability to

Qualifications

• California Bar admission.
• 3–5+ years of civil litigation experience.
• Experience with depositions and case management.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Trial experience is a plus.
• Must reside within the San Francisco Bay Area.

Responsibilities

• Manage discovery.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Draft motions and legal memoranda.
• Prepare cases for trial.
• Present oral arguments.
• Maintain regular communication with clients.
• Attend hearings, court appearances, inspections, and other litigation proceedings.
