Jobot is seeking a highly motivated Associate Attorney with a strong Civil Defense litigation focus for a remote role. This permanent position offers exposure to high-profile cases and a chance to advance in a growing firm.

You will handle insurance, personal injury, business and commercial disputes, manage cases from start to finish, and collaborate with a seasoned team. CA or NV bar admission and 1+ year of relevant experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the state bar and in good standing (CA or NV).
• Minimum of 1 year of litigation experience in insurance, personal injury, business, and commercial law.
• Exceptional research and writing skills.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal representation in civil defense matters including insurance and personal injury.
• Manage a caseload from inception through trial.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses.
• Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies.
• Participate in depositions, hearings, trials, and arbitrations.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and team members.
• Ensure compliance with legal standards and firm policies.
